We are looking for you to join our team in the Retail Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Retail Planer (f/m/d) as soon as possible.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
  • Sales and Budget Planning: Creation of sales, unit, and margin plans at the store, country, and channel levels.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Development and maintenance of monthly rolling forecasts (Sales, Stock, Markdown).
  • Inventory Management: Analysis of stock levels, identification of over- or understocking, and derivation of necessary actions in coordination with Buying & Allocation.
  • Performance Analysis: Creation of target-actual comparisons, KPI dashboards, and deviation analyses (Sales, Sell-Through, UPT, ATV, CR, PPI, etc.).
  • Management Support: Preparation of data-driven decision-making materials for Retail and Executive Management.
  • Process Optimization: Continuous improvement of planning processes, data flows, and reporting structures in collaboration with IT, Controlling, and Buying.
  • Project Collaboration: Support in cross-functional projects (e.g., system migration, budget cycles, KPI harmonization, location analyses).
  • Tool & System Maintenance: Participation in the further development of reporting and planning tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience in analyzing store KPIs and sales floor productivity.
  • Understanding of assortment management, markdown strategies, and stock rotation.
  • Interest in retail technologies and automation in planning and reporting.
What you bring:
  • Completed university degree in Economics/Business Administration or comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling, Business Administration, or Retail Management.
  • Professional experience in the retail or wholesale sector, ideally in planning, controlling, or merchandising.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel/Power Query/Power Pivot; experience with SAP S/4HANA, BW, or SAC is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical understanding and a high affinity for numbers and processes.
  • Experience in handling KPIs and reporting systems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages are an advantage.
  • Structured and proactive way of working, high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Independent way of working and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong understanding of economic relationships within the retail business.
  • High resilience during peak phases (e.g., budget planning, seasonal changes).
